Tooluxe Builders is a brand of Kitengela Terrazzo Enterprises Ltd. This page explains how we get your order to you, and what happens if something is wrong with it.
Delivery options
- Pickup at our Kitengela shop: free. We will contact you when your order is ready. Bring your order number. Open Monday to Saturday, 7:30am to 6:00pm; closed Sunday.
- Free delivery in Kitengela and Athi River: no charge.
- Bolt rider delivery within Nairobi Metro (Nairobi, Kajiado, Kiambu and Machakos counties): you pay the rider directly on arrival.
- Courier, paid in advance: charged by weight at checkout. Nairobi Metro from KSh 250; major towns (Mombasa, Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru, Meru, Embu, Nyeri) from KSh 450; the rest of Kenya from KSh 600. The exact fee is shown before you pay.
When will my order arrive?
Items marked “Available on order” are dispatched within 2 to 3 working days of payment. Courier delivery times after dispatch depend on your town, usually 1 to 3 working days. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will tell you and offer an alternative or a full refund.
Check your order on delivery
Please check the parcel before the rider or courier leaves. If the packaging is visibly damaged, or the item is wrong or missing, note it with the rider and tell us the same day on WhatsApp (+254 114 744 327).
Returns: 7 days for faulty or wrong items
You can return an item within 7 days of delivery or pickup if it is:
- Faulty: it does not work or has a manufacturing defect; or
- Wrong: not the item, model or quantity you ordered.
We do not accept returns for a change of mind. The item must be returned with its original packaging, accessories, manuals and receipt.
We cannot accept returns for items that:
- have been damaged through misuse, accident, incorrect voltage or improper installation;
- are consumables that have been used, such as discs, blades, bits, brushes and gloves (unless faulty on arrival).
How to return an item
- Contact us on WhatsApp (+254 114 744 327) or email orders@tooluxebuilders.com within 7 days, with your order number, a short description and photos or a video of the problem.
- We will confirm the return and arrange collection, or ask you to bring it to our Kitengela shop. For faulty or wrong items, we cover the return delivery cost.
- We inspect the item when it arrives, usually within 1 working day.
Refunds and replacements
Once a return is approved, we will replace the item or, if you prefer or a replacement is not available, refund you in full, including the original delivery fee. Refunds are paid by M-Pesa within 3 working days of approval.
Warranty
After the 7-day return period, faults are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty where one is stated for the product. Keep your receipt or order email as proof of purchase. Contact us and we will handle the warranty claim with the supplier for you. Warranty does not cover normal wear, misuse, accidents or unauthorised repairs.
